---Our 2nd bank is almost half full---I love saving money for future use and of course, everytime my husband fart his 500 japanese yen fine deserves a drop in there lol! Me and my husband is saving 500 yen coins at least one coin a day or if ever we have a 500 yen coin as a change from purchases, we won't spend it but rather drop them there to save. Our goal is to fill that 100,000 japanese yen can and go for a family trip--we don't know yet where to go but at least we have saving goals. Photo below is what we saved for our plane ticket---we're both dedicated to our goal, can't believe that we saved more than we expected to our trip to the Philippines last January and even though it wasn't enough for a JAL plane ticket, it really helped a lot.
Of course it's not always saving money, we also treat ourselves occassionally like buying things to all our family needs but it's also important to us that we do not go overboard financially. Monitoring your money is the key.
